Caresq

Rainbow Pharmacy has a contract with the health insurers that belong to the Caresq group. You can collect your medication at the pharmacy, and the insured care will be reimbursed by the health insurer.

The health insurers that belong to the Caresq group are:

  • EUCARE – Aevitae

ADHD Medication

Rainbow Pharmacy does not have an agreement with Caresq for the reimbursement of ADHD medication prepared by Rainbow Pharmacy. This means that you must pay for this medication yourself.

DEXmethylphenidate must be reimbursed from the basic package if:

  1. The patient has ADHD.
  2. The patient has previously tried other medications, including methylphenidate, but they were not sufficiently effective or caused too many side effects. If both conditions are met, your healthcare provider can put this in writing and sign it. You send this justification along with your reimbursement request to the health insurer, and the insurer must reimburse it.

The justification must include:

  • Patient information
  • Healthcare provider information
  • Which medications you have used and for what period (the period must be at least 28 days per medication)
  • Why you stopped using these medications (ineffective or too many side effects)
  • The dosage of DEXmethylphenidate you will use
